This is an epic report ( I will try to read ) about how business are integating social media into their traditional marketing activities. I will tell you about the time I dressed up as a California Raisin if you ask me.
Make sure you set some time aside to work on your social Media. I also recommend something like a day planner and a journal, so you can keep track of what you did and what you want to do online. Otherwise, you’ll be talking about the same things over and over again. I didn’t have time to spellcheck. Gotta go. ttyl
I want to talk about the difference between marketing and selling. Marketing is how you get your product and service in a position to sell. It’s also persuading people. Selling is when there is a transaction, I call myself a Social Media Enthusiast although I have done marketing and selling. The last four letters of enthusiasm, IASM are an acronym for I Am Sold Myself. Make sure you are sold yourself when you are marketing or selling. In my opinion you can’t really do anything well without Enthusiasm.
I know you can’t get enough of me and Cato. I hope you detect a hint of sarcasm. I want to talk about your target audience and Being Transclucent again. If you figure out your target audience is 90 year old grandmothers that ride Harleys, don’t let everyone know. Everyone who’s not a 90 year old biker will ask “What the heck am I doing reading this?”
We have our picture on Twitpic ( link above) so take a look. It’s Friday here right now. Whatever day it is when you read this, I hope you’re having an epic day! You should be honest and transparent ( or translucent) to your customers. You should respond to all their questions. You don’t have to tell them everything. I wouldn’t tell them my customers my address and that I’m leaving town for a couple of weeks. There is beer and pizza in the fridge so help yourself.
I posted today’s post yesterday. Make sure you have a Social Media Plan and Strategy. It’s a good idea to know your target audience too. Don’t tell people about your plan, strategy and target audience. I mean try not to be transparent. I hope you enjoy the link: Be Translucent!
