Don’t Talk About Yourself Too Much on Social Media. This Link Has Me With Some Famous People.
If you are marketing a product or service, you should answer these three questions on your websites and Social Media:
What is it?
What’s it about?
What do I get?
You are competing for people’s attention. It think it’s easier in person when there’s not too many people around. I spotted Donald Trump in Toronto. We saw him buying a Reese’s peanut butter cup and I told him I had read his books. Miss CA was doing a fundraiser at an IHOP in San Diego when me and my friend Carlos walked in. She said I was Mr. California. I met Tony three times in San Diego. The first time he asked if anyone had a pen to sign an autograph. After I gave him my pen he signed an autograph and walked off with my pen. I wonder if he still has it? The second time I talked to Tony, I was a volunteer at UPW. I dressed up as a California raisin. I started dancing with a woman from the audience and Tony said “That raisin can dance!”. The third time I met him at a convention in San Diego. I told him I was a dancing raisin in one of his seminars and he asked “Was it fun?” which I thought was a very good question. It definitely was fun being dancing raisin. I met some other famous people but I don’t have pictures with all of them. The point is, if you don’t grab people’s attention they will drop you like a hot potato. Too bad I never dressed up like a potato but I did dress up as a raisin. Remember: Don’t Talk About Yourself Too Much.
